[srslte-users] Questions about LTE and SDR

Hello,
I'm new to SDR and on the proccess of learning it,
and have some quesions about my university project using the B210.

In this project i will try to find cellular phones (LTE) that are nearby
the B210.
Do you have any suggestions, how to do that without creating an enodeB and
establishing connection with the UE, and still locate it?

It supposed to be for rescuing trapped people, a way of locating them threw
their RF signal. so i can't put another SIM card and really don't have
access to the UE.

i'm basically looking for a way to determine their distance from the USRP
somehow (RSRP maybe?)
any suggestions?
