Hello,
My name is Eric Sollenberger, I'm a masters student at Virginia Tech and
I'm hoping to use srsLTE for a project I'm working on this semester. I was
able to build and install the source without any issues, but I'm having
issues running the pdsch_enodeb/pdsch_ue examples and was hoping you might
have some insight/advice.
I think I read somewhere that you guys have been using USRP B210's for your
development, have you run these examples on USRP N210's by any chance? If
not do you have any expectation for whether or not it should run?
I ran uhd_fft on one of the USRPs to verify that a signal was being
transmitted by the USRP running pdsch_enodeb, and I saw periodic bursts
towards the center of the FFT. I'm assuming this is the PSS/SSS and PBCH,
but since there isn't a UE connected, no actual data is being sent and so
the spectrum does not look like a typical OFDM waveform. When I ran
pdsch_ue on the second USRP it would tell me that no cell was found. On
some runs it would print "Decoding PBCH," but then nothing else until
saying that no cell was found.
Also, I had installed libSDRGUI before srsLTE but I did not see any of the
windows that I saw in your video. Do they only come up when successfully
connected to the enodeb?
I also ran a separate OFDM SDR waveform using the same setup to verify that
there wasn't something wrong with my hardware setup and it worked fine.
Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Eric Sollenberger
