[srslte-users] Clarification about pdsch_enodeb example

Hi all,

I would like to have an advice. I’m running the examples pdsch_enodeb and pdsch_ue and I’m trying to understand every steps.

I’ve noticed that each byte of the data received by the socket (opened on the port specified with the argument -p) is “splitted" in 8 bytes, calling the function srslte_bit_unpack_vector which calls srslte_bit_unpack.
Is there a particular reason why this is done in this way?

Thank you very much!

Best regards,
Chiara
