I don’t change the Tx_gain in my memory. I check the UE.conf file:
Tx_gain = 60
Rx_gain = 50
The UE is very near from the eNodeB, i.e. 10cm~20cm.

I think that the problem with disconnection is due to many UL crc fails. What tx_gain you have configured in ue.conf? How far is the eNodeB from the UE?

You have to go to Edit->Preferences->Protocols->DLT_USER, click on Edit, click on New, choose 147 and in payload protocol write mac-lte-framed.
Then you need to set up the radio bearers in Edit->Preferences->Protocols->MAC-LTE, LCID->DRB Mapping table, edit according to the DRB configuration.

Can you enable all_level=info in [log] section in ue.conf and enable=true in [pcap] and send us the files /tmp/ue.log and /tmp/ue.pcap please?

I have compare the srsUE behavior with that of a real UE in the same network. I have changed the RRC connection timeout value to 0 (which means never timeout) in the eNB configuration. When the real UE attach to the network, the enb will NOT send the following message to the MME. While in srsUE case, the enb will send the following message to the MME.
Another issue is that after 35 seconds, the UE will NOT be able to connect to the PDN network again.
Is the RRC connection timer timeout value fixed , or can it be changed in the srsUE source codes?

Hi Dony,
I believe this is the RRC connection timeout. If there isn't any traffic on the connection, the eNB releases the RRC connection.
If there is subsequent traffic from the UE, it will trigger the random access procedure to reestablish the connection. If there is subsequent traffic from the network, it will page the UE, resulting in the same random access procedure.

Hi Dony He,
To access the internet or the network behind the P-GW you just have to add the P-GW IP address as a new route in the linux kernel, e.g. "route add net default gw <p_gw_ip_addr>". Also you might need to configure the DNS manually.
There are two tools to capture the packets over the air:
- Packet captures that can be dissected by Wireshark. Enable option in [pcap] section in the ue.conf
- Text format logs for each layer. Section [log] of the ue.conf
