[srslte-users] How NAS layer message is passed to RRC layer

I am trying to understand how NAS layer message is passed to RRC
layer? I have found rrc->write_sdu() function call used by
send_attach_request() function for pushing the packet to RRC layer.
However, rrc::write_sdu() function sends the NAS layer packets along
with the RRCConnectionSetupComplete message or  ULInformationTransfer
message for two different RRC states. If this is the logic, then
Authentication Response message also incudes ULIndformationTransfer
message. I am trying to understand this logic. Please correct me if I
am wrong.
