While being new to this, i would like to set up srsLTE in the ham band.
Using off a shelf UE and LimeSDR-Mini as RF inferface on the srsenb
In the US there seems to some overlap with the 900 Mhz ISM, so that should
be possible in FDD Mode
Now here in Europe there is some overlap in the 2300 Mhz band
For example there are these chunks in the 13cm bandplan
2355.000 2365.000 Digital Communication (10Mhz/2*5Mhz)
2392.800 2400.000 Digital Communication (5Mhz)
According to the LTE frequency bands this overlaps nicely with Band 40
Band Duplex F(MHz) Common name Uplink/Downlink(MHz) Duplex Channel
bandwidths(MHz)
40 TDD 2300 S-Band 2300 – 2400 N/A 5, 10, 15, 20
To be able to use these frequencies it would require srsLTE to use TDD,
Only while browsing the code, i could only find some brief mentions of TDD
in the srsUE and none in the sreENB.
While searching for information how to do this, advice would be very
welcome.
Thanks in advance ,
Paul
