[srslte-users] Problems to find SIB messages

Hi everyone,
first of all, I would like to thanks all of you for the work and support
you provide!
I've a problem that I cannot figure out: I've try to see other SIB messages
broadcasted by a real cell around me. So I started from cell_measurement.c
example and I was able to correctly find and decode (using
https://www.marben-products.com/decoder-asn1-lte/ as someone suggested in
others emails) SIB1. Following the decoded result, I expect the following
SIBs:
<schedulingInfoList>
<SchedulingInfo>
<si-Periodicity>
<rf8/>
</si-Periodicity>
<sib-MappingInfo>
<sibType3/>
</sib-MappingInfo>
</SchedulingInfo>
<SchedulingInfo>
<si-Periodicity>
<rf16/>
</si-Periodicity>
<sib-MappingInfo>
<sibType5/>
</sib-MappingInfo>
</SchedulingInfo>
<SchedulingInfo>
<si-Periodicity>
<rf64/>
</si-Periodicity>
<sib-MappingInfo>
<sibType6/>
</sib-MappingInfo>
</SchedulingInfo>
<SchedulingInfo>
<si-Periodicity>
<rf64/>
</si-Periodicity>
<sib-MappingInfo>
<sibType7/>
</sib-MappingInfo>
</SchedulingInfo>
</schedulingInfoList>
<si-WindowLength>
<ms10/>
</si-WindowLength>
And I easily find SIB2, SIB5, SIB6 and SIB7 but...no SIB3 messages.
What I've do, was a little modification in cell_measurement.c:
Original:
if ((srslte_ue_sync_get_sfidx(&ue_sync) == 5 && (sfn%2)==0)
Modified:
if (srslte_ue_sync_get_sfidx(&ue_sync) == subframe &&
(sfn % periodicity) == X/10)
where,
X = (sib_searched-1) * window_len;
subframe = X %10;
I've tried to comment the conditional statement and print all messages but
even in that case I didn't find SIB3.
After that, I've tried with another cell and the results were even worse:
from 6 SIB messages (2,3,5,6,7 and 8), I was able to find only 3 of them
(2,3 and 5).
What are my mistakes? What I did not understand?
Thanks in advice,
Edward Johnson
