Hi,
Diagram attached.
Question are you enb, epc and mbms processes running in the same machine ?
If not you may need to set the M1 interfaces otherwise the defaults
should be fine.
m1u_multi_addr = 239.255.0.1
m1u_multi_if = 10.99.3.1
BTW 239.255.0.1 is used for M1 IPC, not your dataplane routing.
The srs_mbms should create a tun interface,
something like this..
sgi_mb: flags=4305<UP,POINTOPOINT,RUNNING,NOARP,MULTICAST> mtu 1500
inet 172.16.0.254 netmask 255.255.255.255 destination 172.16.0.254
inet6 fe80::c93a:e0c2:6f70:677d prefixlen 64 scopeid 0x20<link>
unspec 00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00
txqueuelen 500 (UNSPEC)
RX packets 0 bytes 0 (0.0 B)
RX errors 0 dropped 0 overruns 0 frame 0
TX packets 3 bytes 144 (144.0 B)
TX errors 0 dropped 0 overruns 0 carrier 0 collisions 0
you will need to direct your traffic to this interface for starters you
could use "ping -I sgi_mb 224.4.4.4" and watch the ue tun interface with
tcpdump etc.
required config changes:
ue.conf:
mbms_service = 0
enb.conf:
sib_config = sib.mbsfn.conf
enable_mbsfn = true
