Dear all,
I do have a question regarding USRP-B210 transmit power on the band of 5 GHz.
I connected the output of my USRP board to a spectrum analyzer using a cable (With the loss about 1dB in 5GHz). By modifying the tx-gain, I can reach to about 4 dBm at max (setting tx-gain to 89). Moreover, I noticed another parameter called rf-amplitude where if I set it to values more than 1 (i.e 4), I can have the power about 10-12 dBm with 20 MHz bandwidth and rx-gain of 89. Changing rf-amplitude to values higher than 1, the UE data-rate and SNR is not stable and they fluctuate a lot.
Does anyone knows the difference between “tx-gain” and “rf-amplitude”. Also, are these values as transmit power (Max 12 dBm) are realistic? And finally, is it possible to reach to higher transmit power (i.e 16 dBm) in 5GHz with this device?
Looking forward to your reply.
Bests,
Ps: Iam using PDSCH example of SRSLTE-eNB.
