[srslte-users] How to Extract Signal Information

Hey,

I am running the following setup:
One PC is emulating the EPC. One PC is emulating the eNB. One PC is
emulating the UE. And there is an additional physical UE (Samsung cell
phone) that is also connecting to the network.

Now, I want to be able to measure the signal strength between the eNB and
the emulated UE. Shouldn't this be a piece of information that is
transmitted as part of some protocol message?
How can I view the messages that are transmitted?
So far, the only information that I have is the epc.log file within my
EPC's /tmp folder. The log file is fine to analyse what is going on. But it
does not show the complete messages. As in wireshark, I could open the
message to extract more details. Is there a way to get more information
about the transmitted signals?

kind regards,
Lukas
