[srslte-users] Request for help with handoff code

Hi all,

I am a new user of srsLTE and I am trying to implement hand-off in a UE
mobility scenario on top of srsLTE. Since the srsePC and srseNB don't have
handover support yet, we are trying a simple approach to detect RSSI and
trigger a handover in the event that the RSSI falls below a certain
threshold. (as of now arbitrarily set) We tried to modify the
generate_report function as defined in ./srsue/src/upper/rrc.cc by
appending a few lines at the end (see attached image).

However, we noticed that this function is not invoked in a normal execution
of srsue by putting print statements.

Is there any other function in rrc.cc or elsewhere that can also report
RSRP and RSRQ and is typically called in every srsue execution?
