[srslte-users] Fwd: srsUE testing with R&S CMW 500 - eNB Simulator

Hi everyone,

I hope you are doing well.

I tried to test the srsUE with CMW 500 and there are a few issues I have
faced. It will be great if anyone can guide me in this regard.

Below is the details:

*1. Running srsUE with Soft Sim mode - Authentication and AS + NAS Security
mode off:*

First to of all I used CMW 500 in Test mode AS, NAS Security and
Authentication was disabled. The UE connects and gets the IP but disconnect
in 2 3 seconds. And gives error "Scheduling request failed: releasing RRC
connection..." UE log (ue (Soft Sim)-Authentication and security off) is
attached.

Warning on CMW 500: "Signaling Failure"

Below is the console output:

*2. Running srsUE with Soft Sim mode - Authentication and AS + NAS Security
mode ON:*

In this case I recieve attach reject with the following warning:

[NAS ] [W] Received Attach Reject. Cause= 18

UE log and CMW 500 screenshot is attached. Please let me know if you get
any clue what I have done wrong.

I have seen the 3GPP document 3GPP TS 24.301 V10.12.0 (2013-12) and the
reason stated is:

Cause #18 – CS domain not available This EMM cause is sent to the UE if the
MME cannot service an UE generated request because of no availability of CS
domain.

Log (ue (soft sim) -Authentication and Security enable) and "CMW 500
security on" screen shot is attached.

Warning on CMW 500 "NAS Security mode Failure".

Please let me know what I have done wrong in configurations.

These tests are performed with previous release of srsLTE.
