[srslte-users] Trying to connect the UE with the programmable USIM card to connect to the 4G network

Hi everyone,

I am currently trying to troubleshoot for errors as I am currently trying
to connect the network but I am totally not sure what went wrong. I have
configured the USIM parameters such as OPC/K/IMSI to be the same as the
user_db.csv.example. The MCC/MNC it is set as 001/01. When the phone search
automatically while I run the sudo srsepc/ sudo srsenb commands. It takes a
while for the phone to connect to the network, when it does connnect, the
network it shows that I am connected to is Software Radio Systems Limited.

Well, it does show the 4G network icon on the phone, when I tried to surf
the net/ go to google play store it does tell me that the the phone is not
connected to the 4G network. Even the phone may be connected to the
"network", it does disconnect after a while. I have tried to set the
computer on performance mode and masquerade the interface when surfing the
net. Any help would be greatly appreciated here. I will upload the
epc/ue/enb configuration files with the pcap files .

Goal: Currently, my goal is for the phone (as the UE) to connect to the 4G
network.
Next, I would like to sniff for the broadcast messages as the UE surfs the
net. I have also read on other post "Trying to pickup broadcast
messages[2]". While my goal is similar to his, I will appreciate if you can
guide me step by step, as I am not knowledgeable in the LTE as well as the
linux commands. I have a few questions to ask if I do change the ue tx
gain, do I need to change any other configuration like the enb tx gain? I
also did a few tests on the n_prb=25/15/50. Ideally should the n_prb be
somewhere 15/25?

Besides that, when I start up wireshark, I also countered this issue, I am
not sure if I should be worried it.

The current setup is B210, Ubuntu 16.04, uhd 3.9.7. USIM card is from
sysmocom. I tried using on Samsung s6 and Samsung s8 so far.

Once again, I will greatly appreciate for any help provided. Thanks in
