[srslte-users] Counting UEs and detecting distance from SDR passively

Hello,

I am trying to create a device which can passively detect the number of UEs
that are nearby an SDR as a summer research project. I am using an Ettus
Research B210 with srsLTE.

I have looked into some of the example code, as well as taking the eNodeB
implementation and stripping out all transmission code and using the
skeleton of it to just receive packets. I also read somewhere that
capturing QCI packets could assist with solving this problem in conjunction
with intercepting RARs to acquire a list of C-RNTIs.

Does anyone know of some resources/directions that can help me with this in
srsLTE or elsewhere?
