What compiler and what version do you use?

You could try increasing the large-function-growth limit by adding "--param large-function-growth=800" to CFLAGS and CXXFLAGS, it should be something like

   rm CMakeCache.txt
   CFLAGS="--param large-function-growth=800" CXXFLAGS="--param large-function-growth=800" cmake ..

I'm not sure what the default limit is so try different values.

Since commit dbd219e11 all warnings are treated as errors (-Werror was added) and most probably this is a warning converted to error so alternatively you could try commenting out lines 393 and 394 in CMakeLists.txt.
