Hi John wu,

 

Thanks for your suggestion. I changed today the USB-3.0 port but the b210 is
still not recognized as USB-3. Next step would be to change the CYUSB3014
chip, but I wonder what could have damaged the chip ... I will tell you when

Hi Jose,

that should be the usb3.0 port broken or the CYUSB3014 chip broken for the
usb3.0 part. if you have ability to change an usb3.0 port you can try it.

Hi everybody!

 

The USRP B210 used to work properly connected to USB 3.0 of my
Lenovo-ideapad-310-I5 with Ubuntu 16.04 LTS. Also, it used to work correctly
with USB 3.0 of Odroid XU4 with Ubuntu 16.04. But, suddenly B210 has stopped
being recognized as USB 3. It is literally connected to the USB 3.0 port but
is recognized as USB 2.0. I thought I had a problem with the USB 3.0 cable
but I tested it with 3 new USB 3.0 cables (1.8 meters) and the result is
always the same: B210 is only recognized as USB 2.0 device based on usrp
probe messages (see below).

This might be a common problem to many of you but I can’t solve it on my
own. Looking forward for a help to solve this problem. Best regards, Sindi.
