Hi,
I am new to the srsLTE community. I am trying to enable a scenario using
the ZeroMQ driver between multiple UEs and one eNB.
>From previous emails, I have seen that this will be supported in upcoming
releases (facilitating ZMQ broker caps) and for the time being, I may use
GNU Radio Companion.
I have created a second ue2.conf configuration, so that USIM info matches
this by the HSS. In addition, I have used the same EARFCN across UEs and
the single cell of the eNB.
I have seen the app notes for the Inter-cell handover and I have modified
this as following:
*------------------------------------------------------------------*
| *Port Direction | cell 1 Port # | UE1 | UE2 |*
*------------------------------------------------------------------*
*| TX | 2101 | 2001 | 2003 |*
*-------------------------------------------------------------------*
*| RX | 2100 | 2000 | 2002 |*
*-------------------------------------------------------------------*
The Tx Port of the Cell 1 is directed to both UE1, UE2 RX Ports
The Tx Port of the UEs are separately throttled, jointly added and then
directed to the Cell 1 Rx Port.
I start the epc, enb, ue1, ue2 and then the gnu radio script.
What I notice, is that sometimes the UE1 successfully registers while other
times it pauses in the RRC Connected state.
However, the UE2 never successfully registers (Network authentication
failure). I have to notice, in this point, that if I try to connect the UE2
on its own to the EPC, it successfully registers (so, it's not the USIM
data).
Is the configuration of the UEs that I should take care of or something in
the GNU script? Has anyone else experienced similar behavior?
Thanks in advance for your time,
Nikos Apostolakis
