Good to hear you're interested in NB-IoT. Unfortunately we currently
don't have any precise release date for full Cat-NB1-support in srsENB.
There are a few discussions around it but nothing concrete.

Having said that, the path you've started seems to be correct. The
entire RRC libs are released, so starting with a rough implementation of
the RRC/MAC layer which packs and broadcasts MIB and SIBs would be a
good first step. Perhaps this would already be enough to trigger a PRACH
from the Quectel UE.

Another alternative for your project would be the OpenAirInterface eNB
which has some Cat-NB1 support.
