[srslte-users] Rank Indicator reported value

Hello everyone,

My name is Paul and I am a master student in telecommunications. I am using
srsLTE in order to simulate a LTE network and measure the performance of it
for my thesis.
I am using two USRPs X300 (one for the eNB and the other for the UE as well
as a smartphone) and I have configured the enb.conf file for MIMO
transmission in TM 4. Because the computers in my university aren't fast
enough to support PRB higher than 25, when I am using the second USRP as a
UE, I have set the PRB to 15 and when I am using the smartphone I have set
it to 25. In both cases I don't lose packets because of the performance of
my machines.
Although the reported values of CQI, SNR, MSC and RSRQ from both eNB and UE
are optimal because the distance between the eNB and UE is 3 meters with
line of site, the RI have always the same value which is 1. I have tried
different combinations of tx_gains and rx_gains in both sides but the RI
value doesn't change. Can you please help me?
The following link have the configuration files (enb.conf, ue.conf) as well
as a file with measurements from both the eNB and UE and the .pcap files:

Thank you in advance!

Best regards,
Paul
