[srslte-users] Is there any way to identify which PID is for DL and which PID is for UL?

I found a paper that was talking about the performance both OAI and srsLTE.
in one chapter , it point out the resource usage of UL and DL. I am
confusing how it did. I assume there is a way to separate UL and DL PID.
