[srslte-users] Modem long re-attach time after killing srsenb

Dear All,
I noticed that, after "killing" srsenb from the SDR host, when I
re-start it, the modem takes very long time to re-attach, and quite often I
run out of patience before it attaches (and I am pretty patient, I mean
several 10s of minutes, most of the times).
If I reboot the modem, or de-register and re-register it after
re-starting the enb, the attach is almost immediate.
De-registering and re-registering is easy if you have access to the modem,
but not if you don't, of course, and you want to do this remotely.
I improved slightly with the modem settings (limit the search to the band
of my enode) but still not much. Another attempt with moderate success (but
horrible as concept) has been to reboot the modem host just before turning
off the enode... horrible and also impossible to do if the enode crashed,
because means that I already lost connectivity to the modem host...
The gist of the question is: is there a way to speed up the re-attach by
either sending a "smooth detach" command to the modem or "turning off" the
endode in a more "gentle" manner then typing q or Ctrl+C?
Many thanks!
Andrea
