[srslte-users] Latest release very stable and reliable

Hi,

I am using usually low bands, 700/800 MHz, LimeSDR commit a45e482dad28508d8787e0fdc5168d45ac877ab5, Soapy commit 3fa5ef7437983ae3e6a4d3cf6eb31438c95794c6, both on "master".

The LimeSDR hardware is also flashed with the latest versions, FW 4, Gateware 2.23.

Still newer Huawei phones (P20, P40) make trouble and are often unwillingly to connect, while for example an old Samsung S6 does a fine job. I was able to run the usual bunch of software updates after longer period of not using the phone, almost like in a commercial network, with perfect stability and throughput.

MIMO brings the expected boost, and bandwidths of 5 or 10 MHz work fine, while with 20 MHz the throughput drops.

The dynamic appears to much higher now, means, varying uplink level is tolerated to a much greater extent now.

It will be interesting how the RasPi will behave when the latest srsRAN will hopefully compile on it again.

With best regards

Ralph.
