[srslte-users] RX Frequency offset

Hello support,

I really need to clarify this. This is not for offset correction or normal use situations. On the RX data path in the receiver hardware, I need to move the analogue wanted frequency away from DC 0Hz. So, I'm asking if srsUE can handle this as follows: Example we want to receive a LTE signal centred on 2.4Ghz. Normally the LO (local Oscillator) would be tuned to the same frequency to move the signal to be centred on 0hz prior to the ADC. If I add an offset of at least 500Khz in the srsUE config file (or any other way of doing it), will the LO tune to the offset frequency which will move the signal away from 0Hz and then the digitized signal be recentred on the wanted signal? If srsUE can handle this, the wanted signal would be offset from 0Hz to (eg) 500Khz at the Baseband prior to the ADC. This is exactly what I need for some custom hardware to enable some magnetics to pass the higher frequency signal. The transmit needs to be left alone at the required frequency, in this example 2.4Ghz. So, I just need the received Baseband analogue signal to be offset from 0Hz and then after digitisation (to be recentred and) extracted as normal.

Will this work 'out of the box' or could it be a commercial project to make it work?

Thank you

Philip
