[srsran-users] 5G SA Connection Issues with 22.04.1

Hello all,

I recently upgraded to 22.04.1 from 22.04 and am now unable to connect to
my gNB. I have narrowed it down to an issue with the gNB as I reinstalled
22.04 on my UE and it was still unable to connect to the 22.04.1 gNB.

My setup was working fine, but I was experiencing a crash from the vector
out of bounds error that I had hoped was fixed in the new 22.04.1.

2x Ubuntu 20.04 machines
2x Ettus B200
Cabled connection
open5GS as the core network

I have attached the logs with all levels set to info, but it looks like the
UE always reports an issue with the cell selection process on the RRC
level. I also tried with ZeroMQ and got the exact same error message.
Normally, I have to run the logs with level set to none for all or I get
latency issues on my UE machine.

RRC issue fro ue-uhd.log

with failure.
2022-08-11T13:15:45.022146 [RRC-NR ] [W] Could not finish setup request.
Deallocating dedicatedInfoNAS PDU

Is there some parameter I am missing in the gNB set-up that changed with
22.04.1? I used the examples provided but did not modify the rb.conf file
only the rr.conf to support the 5G SA setup I was going for. I should
mention that it was working amazingly on 22.04, the only reason I upgraded
was because of the crashing.

Any help is much appreciated, I have only been using your software for a
couple of months now so I am still a beginner.

Thanks,
Joe
