Hi Russell,
No, it is not possible to place calls from a COTS device connected to a
srsRAN-based network to other local commercial networks using standard
phone calls (voice over LTE). Although, it is possible to place calls using
VoIP. To do this you can use srsENB with a third-party core, we recommend
Open5GS. We do not have an application note explaining this, but you can
take a look at this guide
