Thanks Brendan! I figured as much and that is what I did. I had another question I sent about the gtp-u advertise address not working with the SRSran acting as a gNB. Have you had any issues with this parameter??

Hi Glenn,

This is a known limitation of srsRAN when running in 5G SA. If the UE loses sync during the attach, or the inactivity timer runs out while the UE is connected, the UE will not start the RRC connection again.

A workaround is to increase the RRC inactivity timer in the eNB configuration file. You can find this on line 411.

I noticed that after connecting and letting the ue inactivity timer kick in, the UE WILL NOT REATTACH to the gNB.  Has anyone else seen this?  If I send data before the timeout everything works correctlyl.
