[srsran-users] Multicast groups in eMBMS

Hi all,

I have followed the "eMBMS End-to-End" tutorial from the srsRAN docs and I
am able to both use the unicast and multicast interfaces.

I am not sure about the changes that can be done to the multicast/broadcast
part. Lets say that from an eNB operator point of view I want to stream two
different services, and have a part of the eMBMS UEs be suscribed to the
first service and the rest to the second one. I know that this could be
done at an IP level by streaming the service to different multicast
addresses, however, I wonder if this can be done more from a eMBMS protocol
perspective.

Is there any way to create some kind of multicast groups within the same
eMBMS eNB at a protocol level? Maybe by somehow setting two MBMS Service
IDs in the same eNB? Or is there some other approach that I am not noticing?

Thank you all and best regards,

Jorge
