Hi to the community,

Trying to understand the uplink channel estimation process in the eNB 
side, I have two main questions:

a) Uplink noise estimation using smoothing filter:

I am trying to derive the coefficients of the division in this line. Any 
hint on that?

b) Uplink PUSCH encoding in the UE side. Each symbol is multiplied with 
a normalization factor, which is dependent on the number of resource 
blocks assigned in the UL grant (through DCI 0).

However, how is this normalization factor formula applied? Is it a 
standard procedure and if yes, could you please provide a reference?
