[srsran-users] An inquiry about srsRAN, netcat, video

Dear Software Radio Systems, 

Thank you very much for reading my letter. I'm the follower of software radio systems from China. It's my honour to do some work with srsRAN Project. However, I encounted some problems that I couldn't solve during the process. That's why I write to inquire and really hope to get your answers.

Thanks for Mr.Falkenberg’s help. Now I have successfully sent simple information from ue to enb through netcat on srsRAN: 

By searching for information online, I have also learned about other functions of netcat, among which the streaming service function is very related to what I need to implement. 

I have installed mplayer and tested that it can play videos normally. However, when using the streaming service of netcat, it was shown that “Connection to 172.16.0.1 2226 port [tcp/*] succeeded!”, but no video appeared.

I don't know if it's a problem with mplayer or if the command is not available.

I would like to inquire if you know of any other way to achieve video transmission through srsRAN, or if you have any relevant experience or any idea after understanding it.

In addition, I also want to inquire about throughput issues: 

Can increasing the n_prb of the configuration file increase throughput? What other parameters can improve throughput? Have you conducted any tests to determine the maximum throughput?

What’s more, ue and enb will continuously connect and disconnect. Is there a way to keep them connected?
