Hey Adam,
Not sure if your SDR is running on USB 3.0. For the Overflow, I do have
several suggestions. Most of them are included in srsRAN docs.
1. Try to use USB3.0 instead of USB 2.0;
2. Let the host run on performance mode;
3. If testing with LTE, try to reduce the n_prb. Since you are testing
5G, you may can skip this step;
4. Try an another powerful computer, I remember the srsRAN docs have
suggestions about the CPU;
5. Try to configure the host to use real-time kernel. To be honest, I
haven't tried this because a more powerful computer has solved the
overflow problem on my side.
Hope these suggestions could give you some intuition.
