[srsran-users] Capturing IQ samples using usrp_capture_sync

Hello everyone,

I am writing to request your assistance with an issue I am facing while
capturing IQ samples from an LTE network for offline processing. After
researching possible tools, I have identified usrp_capture_sync as a
possible tool to use, but I have encountered a problem.
If I capture traffic from a real commercial network and process it with
pdsch_ue, it decodes correctly. However, if I try to capture traffic from a
network I have implemented myself using srsepc, srsenb, and srsue (in which
srsue registers correctly and connects to the internet), when I try to
process the capture later with pdsch_ue, it decodes the MIB but I have 100%
miss and cannot process the capture.

Interestingly, if I run pdsch_ue in live mode on both the commercial
network and my private network, it can decode the cell information
correctly in both cases. Therefore, I suspect the issue might be with
usrp_capture_sync when trying to capture IQ samples of the private network
implemented with srsRAN.

I would appreciate any guidance or suggestions on why this behavior is
different for the commercial network and the srsRAN implemented private
network.
