[srsran-users] Sounding RS in srsRAN

Hi All, 

Wish everyone a happy and joyful new year! I am able to setup a stable 4G eNodeB (srsenb on tag 22.10) that works well with a COTS UE. The eNB and COTS UE connection works fine. 

However, I wanted to enable sounding reference signal (Sounding-RS) on eNodeB side so that COTS UE sends the Sounding-RS to eNodeB. I have followed a similar configuration described [ https://github.com/srsran/srsRAN/issues/937 | in this link ] to setup the Sounding-RS. But the COTS UE never sends or gets attached to the eNodeB after the specified changes. Below line in " enb_cfg_parser.cc " mentions that sounding-RS are not yet supported by srsRAN.

sib2 -> rr_cfg_common . srs_ul_cfg_common . set ( srs_ul_cfg_common_c :: types :: release ); 

Could anyone advise on how to enable this feature and which files need to be changed, please? I am willing to help. Thank you very much.
