[srsran-users] Problems connecting srsUE to gNB using ZeroMQ

Hi,

I'm trying to connect a srsUE to a gNB using ZeroMQ based on the example in the srsRAN Project documentation. The UE connects to the gNB (RRC connected), but the PDU Session is not established. The gNB connects to the Open5GS core network, according to the AMF log:

05/10 10:50:30.805: [amf] INFO: gNB-N2 accepted[127.0.0.1]:41358 in ng-path module (../src/amf/ngap-sctp.c:113)
05/10 10:50:30.805: [amf] INFO: gNB-N2 accepted[127.0.0.1] in master_sm module (../src/amf/amf-sm.c:741)
05/10 10:50:30.805: [amf] INFO: [Added] Number of gNBs is now 1 (../src/amf/context.c:1178)
05/10 10:50:30.805: [amf] INFO: gNB-N2[127.0.0.1] max_num_of_ostreams : 30 (../src/amf/amf-sm.c:780)

When I start the UE, nothing happens with the AMF log, MME log or any of the other core network logs.

Looking at the MAC PCAP file shows the following:

Looking at the NGAP PCAP file shows the following:

[cid:image002.png at 01D98332.13B765D0]

Comparing the core network config files mme.yaml and amf.yaml, the gNB and UE config files (including the SIM details), I can't find any errors. Does anyone have any explanation? Are there other config files I should look at?

Best regards,
Jan
