[srsran-users] Connection traffic steering application to SRSRAN

Dear SRSRAN team,

I am exploring options to integrate an external traffic steering application with the srsRAN 4G/LTE protocol stack to enable closed-loop network optimization. Specifically, I am interested in understanding alternatives to trigger inter-cell handovers beyond gain adjustments.

To my view the only option is Dynamic reconfiguration of the eNB is possible by modifying gain cell.

Please let me know if you have any recommendations that could provide handover influence while Traffic steering application is running. My goal is to enable closed-loop optimization while maintaining stability and performance.
