Dear srsRAN team,
I hope this message finds you well. I am a master student working on my thesis with srsRAN.
I am using srsRAN ZMQ and I would like to understand how to observe dynamic MCS adaptation and throughput changes based on RSRP/path loss changes.
Currently I am using the tutorial for multiple UEs with GNU Radio integration (https://docs.srsran.com/projects/project/en/latest/tutorials/source/srsUE/source/index.html#zeromq-based-setup) and I am observing the expected changes in RSRP, but with no reflection in MCS and throughput.
Could you please confirm if dynamic MCS adaptation is supported in the srsRAN 5G project? If it is supported, how can this feature be configured?
Additionally, I would like to enable logging of UE metrics aggregated on the gNB side, I have enabled the json file in the config file and I am taking some data using the python script provided(https://docs.srsran.com/projects/project/en/latest/user_manuals/source/outputs.html), but I would like to take the same parameters that are shown as output in the gNB terminal (included the RSRP for example). Could you please help on where and how to enable this logging feature?
Thank you very much for your help.
Best regards,
Riccardo Gobbato
